Grandparents are Terry and Terresa Denton of Salisbury and Tom and Rhonda Lowe of Gold Hill. Great-grandparents are Jerry and Betty Graham of Mocksville, H.B. and Mildred Williams of Salisbury and Steve and Nancy Taylor of Gold Hill. Great-great-grandparents are Autie Connell of Locust, Carl and Esther Brown of Salisbury and Ophelia Morgan of Gold Hill.
Brandon Swanson
A son, Brandon Reese, was born to Abby and Richard Swanson of Denver on April 9, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln. He weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Grandparents are Melvin and Janie Lesley of Gold Hill and Wayne and Janet Swanson of Maiden. Great-grandparents are Robert and Louise Lesley of Salisbury and Jean Swanson of Wilcox, Pa.
Savannah Guffey
A daughter, Savannah Marie, was born to Brandon and Melissa Tilton Guffey of Fayetteville on March 15, 2009, at Womack Army Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Grandparents are Terry and Wendy Guffey of Cleveland and James and Cynthia Tilton of Spencer, N.Y. Great-grandparents are Helen Legge of Owego, N. Y., Marge Tilton of Ithaca, N. Y., Ronald and Jo Ellen Hoppe of Jackson, Mich., and Robert Guffey of River Rouge, Mich.
Landon Frizzell
A son Landon Anthony Zaide was born to Francheska Frizzell and William Upright of Mooresville on March 5, 2009, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 3.9 ounces.
