China Grove book store's grand opening activities this week

Corner Books & More at 101 N. Main St. in China Grove will celebrate its grand opening this week from Wednesday to Saturday.
There will be book signings, prize drawings, book discounts and refreshments each day. A ribbon-cutting will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The book-signings scheduled include:
– Wednesday, 10 a.m.-noon, Jan McCanless, author of “The Case of the Doomed Diplomat,” and 1-4 p.m., Col. John Gray, author of “Called to Honor.”
– Thursday, 4-7 p.m., Ken Upright, author of “All the King’s Horses and All the King’s Friends.”
– Friday, Amanda Burris, author of “Remember the Dance.”
– Saturday, Amanda Burris, “Remember the Dance.”
Store hours are 9 a.m.-7p.m. Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
