CHARLOTTE ó Wilson Chandler scored seven of his 19 points in the final 4 minutes, and New York beat Charlotte to snap a six-game losing streak and improve to 2-0 against former coach Larry Brown.
The Knicks recovered from blowing a 17-point lead. Gerald Wallace scored 21 points and Boris Diaw had 20 points against his former coach in Phoenix, Mike D’Antoni.
Suns 101, Grizzlies 89
MEMPHIS, Tenn. ó Leandro Barbosa scored 28 points, Shaquille O’Neal added 24 to move into eighth place on the NBA scoring list and the Phoenix Suns beat the Memphis Grizzlies 101-89 Tuesday night without ailing star Steve Nash.The two-time MVP sat out with back spasms, but Barbosa filled in admirably.
