Jalen Moten
A son, Jalen Reese, was born to Whitney Lane Weaver and David Eugene Moten of Cleveland on Nov. 12, 2008, at Davis Regional Medical Center, Statesville. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. He has a brother, Camden Zaccheus. Grandparents are David Alexander of Statesville, Regina Moten, and Jeanie Weaver of Cleveland and Freddie Weaver of Kanapolis.
Daniel Cherry
A son, Daniel Nicholas, was born to Trent and Ashley Cherry of China Grove on Oct. 1, 2008, at Rowan Regional Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 7.5 ounces. Isabelle Bringle
A daughter, Isabelle Noel, was born to Chase and Kim Bringle of Salisbury on Nov. 11, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 4.5 ounces. She has a brother, Andrew Sells, 13, and two sisters, Amber Sells, 19, and Ashley Sells, 17. Grandparents are Doug Bringle, Margaret and Gary “Buddy” Miller, June York all of Salisbury, and the late Jack Baggett. Charlotte Chandler Olivia Chandler
Twin daughters, Charlotte Grace and Olivia Anne, were born to April and Stephen Chandler, of Faith, Oct. 23, 2008, at the Rowan Regional Medical Center. Charlotte weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces and Olivia weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. They have two brothers, Spencer, 6, and Harrison, 2.
