A daughter, Kathryn Lee, was born to Joel Shelton and Jenny Ames Harper of Charlotte on Nov. 4, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Grandparents are Frank and Barbara McGuire and Shelton and Freida Harper, all of Salisbury, and Del and Susie Ames of Neligh, Neb. Great-grandparents are Don and Della Cook of Norfolk, Neb., and Frances Harper of Salisbury.
Cameron Daniels
A son, Cameron Ayden, was born to Renee Daniels of Salisbury on June 18, 2008, at the Lexington Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, .9 ounces. He has a sister, Denera , 1 1/2. Grandparents are Kenny and Betty Hayden of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Jean Lambert of Rockwell and Sally Daniels of Salisbury.Shylynn Louthan
A daughter, Shylynn Noel, was born to Pamela Joy Cartner and Christopher Lee Louthan of Rock Hill, S.C., on Nov. 13, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. She has two brothers, Christopher, 14 and Cody, 11. Grandparents are James and Patricia Street and Robert and Ida Louthan, all of Chester, S.C., and Robert and Pattie Cartner of Woodleaf. Great-grandparents are Louise Louthan of Chester and Nelson and Carol Lewis of Charlotte.
Jalen Moten
A son, Jalen Reese, was born to Whitney Lane Weaver and David Eugene Moten of Cleveland on Nov. 12, 2008, at Davis Regional Medical Center, Statesville. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. He has a brother, Camden Zaccheus. Grandparents are David Alexander of Statesville, Regina Moten, and Jeanie Weaver of Cleveland and Freddie Weaver of Kanapolis.
Daniel Cherry
A son, Daniel Nicholas, was born to Trent and Ashley Cherry of China Grove on Oct. 1, 2008, at Rowan Regional Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 7.5 ounces. Grandparents are Daniel and Karen Lawless of Winston-Salem and Jim and Linda Cherry of Charlotte. Great-grandparents are Adolphus and Ernestine Lawless of Stuart, Va. and Lewis Fletcher of Advance.
Isabelle Bringle
A daughter, Isabelle Noel, was born to Chase and Kim Bringle of Salisbury on Nov. 11, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 4.5 ounces. She has a brother, Andrew Sells, 13, and two sisters, Amber Sells, 19, and Ashley Sells, 17. Grandparents are Doug Bringle, Margaret and Gary “Buddy” Miller, June York all of Salisbury, and the late Jack Baggett. Great-grandparents are James “Shimmy” and Peggy Bringle and Peggy Rogers, all of Salisbury.
David Wagner
A son, David Jordan, was born to David and Melony Wagner of Concord, Nov. 13, 2008, at Northeast Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. He has a brother, Peter, 3, and a sister, Erin, 1. Grandparents are Denise Evans of Concord and Janet and Tony Keys of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are David and Dorothy Hodges of Salisbury.
Charlotte Chandler Olivia Chandler
Twin daughters, Charlotte Grace and Olivia Anne, were born to April and Stephen Chandler, of Faith, Oct. 23, 2008, at the Rowan Regional Medical Center. Charlotte weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces and Olivia weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. They have two brothers, Spencer, 6, and Harrison, 2. Grandparents are Charles and Dee Dee Moody and Jerry and Connie Chandler, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Gerald and Bonnie Herrin of Salisbury and Herb and Ellen Moody of Rockwell.
Mallory Eagle
A daughter, Mallory Brooke, was born to Tim and Cathy Eagle of Salisbury on July 24, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 13.5 ounces. Grandparents are Glenn and Sue Eagle of Salisbury and Dennis and Jean Alsup of Pennington Gap, Va. Great-grandparent is Robert Alsup of Pennington Gap.
