App State quarterback questionable

BOONE ó Appalachian State quarterback Armanti Edwards, who has an injured knee and hip, is listed as questionable for Saturday’s regular-season finale at Western Carolina.
Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. on SportSouth.
Much like the week prior to Appalachian’s 47-21 win against The Citadel, Edwards’ condition and status will be monitored on a day-to-day basis throughout the week. Running back Robert Welton (shoulder) and defensive back Leonard Love (ankle) are listed as probable. Running back Devin Radford (knee) is questionable. VIEWING PARTY
Appalachian State will hold a viewing party for the Division I Football Championship selection show on Sunday at Legends on the ASU campus.
Doors open at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public, and admission is free. Head coach Jerry Moore will address the crowd just before the 30-minute selection show begins at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
ASU (9-2, 7-0 SoCon) clinched the league’s automatic bid to the 16-team postseason field with a 24-16 win against Elon on Saturday.

All first-round games will be played on Nov. 29. When the matchups are announced, one of the eight contests will be selected for a live national broadcast on ESPNU. That contest will begin at noon.
