Too many wrecks at intersection
How many more accidents must happen, how many more injuries must occur, before a traffic light is installed at the corner of Mooresville Road and Lincolnton Road/Sunset Drive?

Facilities lacking
I’m writing this letter to ask why there are so few public restrooms in Salisbury and Rowan County. At some of them, you can’t get in because they are usually locked. They should be open at all times so people can use them.

Sidewalks needed
Last Wednesday, members of my school walked around the block to support building sidewalks near the North area schools. I think this is a good idea for the following reasons.
We should have sidewalks for the kids’ safety, so they won’t have to walk in the road. They shouldn’t have to turn around to see whether a car is coming or to see whether a car is about to turn in. They shouldn’t have to walk in the road and be in danger of being hit by a car or a bus.
We should have sidewalks because it could save gas if more students rode bikes or walked to school. We also would have less air pollution. Without polluted air, the world would be a better place. I think all parents would love this plan.
When kids walk to school on the road, if a bus or car is coming, they have to walk in people’s yards, and they worry about dogs chasing them.
I think we should have sidewalks in this area because it would be safer, save money and kids wouldn’t have to walk through yards.
