MOBILE, Ala. ó David West scored 22 points, Peja Stojakovic added 14 and the New Orleans Hornets were 9-of-16 from 3-point range in their 100-80 exhibition victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday at the University of South Alabama.
New Orleans wrapped up the preseason with a 7-0 mark, while the Heat (1-5) will finish its exhibition schedule Friday night in San Antonio.
New Orleans point guard Chris Paul had 13 assists and six points, Morris Peterson and Devin Brown each scored 12 points, and Rasual Butler added 11. Rookie Michael Beasley led the Heat with 14 points, Shawn Marion added 12, and Dwyane Wade had 11.
Jazz 100, Trail Blazers 89
SALT LAKE CITY ó Kyle Korver hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with 15 points to help Utah beat Portland in the exhibition finale for both teams.
Channing Frye led Portland (4-3) with 17 points, and Rudy Fernandez added 16.
The Blazers played without starters Brandon Roy and Greg Oden, who rested in preparation for the season opener Tuesday night at the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Jazz (4-3) played without point guard Deron Williams (sprained ankle), forward Matt Harpring (ankle) and center Jarron Collins (triceps tendinitis).
Pacers 114, Mavericks 91
DALLAS ó Danny Granger scored 24 points, T.J. Ford had 19 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, and Indiana beat Dallas in the final preseason game for both teams.
Marquis Daniels added 22 points and nine rebounds, and Rasho Nesterovic had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Pacers (4-4).
Josh Howard scored 19 points and Dirk Nowitzki had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Mavericks (4-4).
Hawks 88, Pistons 87
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. ó Zaza Pachulia scored 18 points, including the deciding layup in the final minute, to help Atlanta beat Detroit.
Both coaches rested key players. Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace didnít play for Detroit, while Joe Johnson sat out for Atlanta.
Former Pistons guard Flip Murray led the Hawks (5-3) with 19 points, and Maurice Evans and Marvin Williams had 14 each.
Timberwolves 95, Bucks 76
MINNEAPOLIS ó Al Jefferson scored 19 points and rookie Kevin Love had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota.
Minnesota outscored Milwaukee 27-15 in the fourth quarter to finish the preseason 6-2. Milwaukee (1-6) will close its exhibition schedule Friday night at Chicago.
Minnesota trailed by as many as 10 in the first quarter and 13 in the second, but fought back to grab a 68-61 lead by the end of third.
Rashad McCants had 15 points, including a stretch of 10 straight late in the fourth quarter, for Minnesota. Randy Foye scored eight third-quarter points after going scoreless and missing all four of his shots in the first half.
