CHARLOTTE ó The hours for the exhibit “A Day in Pompeii” currently at Discovery Place will be extended beginning Oct. 1.
The hours will be: MondaynWednesday 9 a.m.n5 p.m. (last ticket sold at 3:30 p.m.); ThursdaynSaturday 9 a.m.n7:30 p.m. (last ticket sold at 6 p.m.); Sunday noonn6 p.m. (last ticket sold at 4:30 p.m.).
Tickets to A Day in Pompeii are $20 for adults (14-59); $17 for children (2-13); and free for children younger than 2.
Reservations are highly recommended. Tickets to the exhibition are for timed entries, so before making a purchase, visitors are asked to select the date and time of their visit. Guests can purchase general admission tickets in one of three ways: online at discoveryplace.org, via phone at 1-877-849-4377 and in person at Discovery Place.
A Day in Pompeii is on exhibition at Discovery Place through Jan. 4, 2009.
Discovery Place is located in uptown Charlotte at 301 N. Tryon Street.
