Many factors favor McCain …
In response to Mrs. Beulah Davis’ Sept. 16 letter, I would like to offer a different opinion.
Doesn’t age and experience count for something? Senator McCain does have military experience; Senator Obama does not. Senator McCain does have more Congressional experience than Senator Obama, with 143 days on the books. Senator Obama will most certainly give us change via higher taxes to fund his social programs. Remember, he was not in favor of removing the federal gas tax to give us relief this summer. Senator McCain was.
Regarding Governor Palin, she’s the only one of the four who does have gubernatorial experience. She also told the truth about her daughter’s pregnancy, unlike former Democratic President Clinton who couldn’t tell what the meaning of “is” is. Even you, Miss Beulah, look how much you have accomplished in your life after age 70 ó still driving, active in the DAR, world traveler, active in your church. What does age have to do with ability or capability?
I’d rather vote for McCain and Palin who clearly state where they want to lead our country, rather than for Obama and Biden who want change for the sake of change. Oops! Should I mention that Senator Biden voted for the tax President Clinton put on Social Security checks?

… or maybe not
John McCain wrecked three military planes while he was learning to fly. He must have been in some sort of affirmative-action program in the military after ranking 894th in his class at the Naval Academy.
McCain has not kept up with technology. He’s confused about the Iraqi civil war that is complicating the separate Iraqi/U.S. war.
McCain said himself he doesn’t understand the economy, although he has tried to backtrack since he said it.
There were two other McCain plane crashes that are complicated to explain but are suspicious in themselves.
McCain himself just seems like another wild ride.
