Two actors from Catawba College won Metrolina Theatre Awards Sept. 14. Candace Neal won in the “Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actor ó Female” for her role as Sunny Jacobs in “The Exonerated.”
Michael Lasris won in the “Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actor ó Male” category for his role as Major General in “The Pirates of Penzance.”
The fifth-annual Metrolina Theatre Awards ceremony was held Sept. 15 at McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square in Charlotte.
