Carly Perkins
A daughter, Carly Rae, was born to David Bruce and Jennifer Creech Perkins of Salisbury on June 27, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 1/2 ounces. She has two brothers, Seth, 5, and Riley, 2. Grandparents are James and Faye Creech of Salisbury and David and Connie Perkins of Clio, S.C. Great-grandparents are Henry and Kathleen Perkins of Clio.
Abigail Eagle
A daughter, Abigail Ann, was born to Kimberly and Stephen Eagle of Salisbury on Aug. 5, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces. She has a brother, Seth, 6. Grandparents are Donnie and Debbie McGee and Susan Berry, all of Salisbury, and Joyce Walmer of Richfield. Great-grandparents are C.L. and Cora Mills of Richfield and Sue and Donald Roe of Spencer.
Mason Mckenzie
A son, Mason Parker, was born to Mark and Crystal Drye Mckenzie of Salisbury on Aug. 7, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. He has a brother, Justin Peeler, 8, and a sister, Sydney Mckenzie, 11. Grandparents are Hoy and Bonnie Drye of Faith and Larry and Sandra Mckenzie of Granite Quarry. Helen Parks of Faith is great-grandparent.
Lola Koontz
A daughter, Lola Bliss, was born to Marc and Jessica Koontz of Salisbury on June 15, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces. She has four sisters, Alana, 12, Lara, 9, Liberty, 5, and Stella, 2. Grandparents are Mike and Dale Koontz of Spencer and Max and Jeanette Vargas of Salisbury. Joanne Royer of Virginia Beach, Va., is great-grandparent.
Ivy King
A daughter, Ivy Serena, was born to Tim and Heidi King of Salisbury on Aug. 7, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces. She has a sister, Autumn Hope, 3. Grandparents are Sumner and Marjorie Goldman of Penacook, N.H., Lea King of Salisbury and Steve King of Woodleaf. Sarah Goldman of Boston is great-grandparent.
