A son, Justin Brooks, was born to Ian Jeffrey and Carla Brooke Menius Beazley of Norwalk, Conn., on June 16, 2008, at Stamford Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. He has a brother, Jake Ian, 22 months. Grandparents are Alan and Bunni Menius of Salisbury, Sharyn Gordon of Buchanan, Conn., and Richard Beazley and Lynda McKay of Shelton, Conn. Great-grandparents are Hazel F. Menius and Charles L. Basinger, both of Salisbury.
Malcolm Blankenship IVA son, Malcolm Brittain, was born to Malcolm and Staci Blankenship of Davidson on June 29 , 2008, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Grandparents are Ann and Mac Blankenship of Woodleaf, Jeanette Nakaji of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Norman Nakaji of Cornelius. Mrs. Henry B. Hrabanek of Charlotte is great-grandparent.
Jackson McCallum
A son, Jackson Owen, was born to Daniel Victor and Tara Jackson McCallum of Salisbury on June 26, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces. He has a brother, Andrew Mason, 9, and a sister, Olivia Spencer, 7. Grandparents are Barbara Jackson of Salisbury, the late Mickey Jackson, and Shorty and Flora Lib McCallum of Rowland.
Kailyn Hearn
A daughter, Kailyn Madison, was born to Jonathan and Elizabeth Hearn of Salisbury on June 17, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces. She has a brother, William, 2. Grandparents are Carol and Brian Howard of Virginia Beach, Va., Peter Hearn of Middletown, Md. and Pamela Hearn of Woodsboro, Md. Great-grandparents are William and Nancy Cook of Ferryhill, England and Deane and Martha George-Adis of Grand Junction, Colo.
Cheyenne Strachen
A daughter, Cheyenne Jordyn, was born to Pennie Colleen Myers and Christopher Alexander Lee Strachan of Salisbury on July, 4 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 15.3 ounces. She has a brother, Jerry Lee Raiden Strachan, 18 months. Grandparents are Scott Alan Strachan Sr. of Kannapolis, Ruth Ann Sexton and Sharon Myers Myers, both of Salisbury, and the late Jerry Clinton Myers. Great-grandparents are Martha Sexton of Coldwater, Mich. and Cecil Myers of Mount Airy.
