Thanks to our faithful friends
Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary’s Pick of the Litter yard sale last Saturday brought in $2,500! We are indebted to the Spencer Plaza and Sun Trust Bank for providing our location, to Don Ward for providing storage and to all the donors and volunteers who made it a day to remember.
Salisbury Parks and Recreation, Chick-Fil-A on Innes Street and Beef O’Brady’s in Mooresville also sponsored events for us recently. Lazy 5 Ranch Veterinary Services included us at their open house last week. The community support for helping animals in need is overwhelming. We are so grateful.

Prime candidate for Congress
Regarding Larry Kissell’s candidacy to represent North Carolina’s Eighth District in Congress:
When I first learned that Larry was planning to enter the arena of politics, I was greatly pleased.
It was my privilege to serve as pastor of the First Baptist Church, Biscoe, for 11 years, where the Kissell family were members. I saw Larry grow from an early teenager into an outstanding young man. I know him to be above reproach, of outstanding character and an asset to the community. I know, without hesitation or reservation, that Larry Kissell will make an oustanding public servant.
