Tennessee, UCLA to meet Sept. 1

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ó Tennessee and UCLA have agreed to play Sept. 1 in a Monday night Labor Day game to be televised nationally on ESPN.
Both universities announced Tuesday that the game will take place five days before the teamsí previously scheduled Sept. 6 game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
The schedule change will affect both teamsí Aug. 30 games. Tennessee will move its matchup with UAB to its Sept. 13 open date, while UCLA will shift its game against Fresno State to Sept. 27.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. ó Kentucky and Louisville will play at Cardinals Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 31 a 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. ó Virginia linebacker JíCourtney Williams faces charges of credit card theft and credit card fraud, according to university police.

KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. ó Serena Williams beat Justine Henin 6-2, 6-0 in the quarterfinals of the Sony Ericsson Open, and Svetlana Kuznetsova eliminated Venus Williams 6-4, 6-4.
Roger Federer advanced to the menís quarterfinals by beating Jose Acasuso 7-6 (8-6), 6-2. Rafael Nadal, who swept Paul-Henri Mathieu 6-4, 6-4, will play No. 9 James Blake today.
