More ‘Forgotten Faces’

The deadline to pick up photographs left behind in our LifeStyle department has been extended through the end of January. We have been cleaning out our file cabinets for the new year, and we still have hundreds of pictures ó award recipients, anniversaries, weddings, family gatherings ó that have not been picked up over the last decade.
On Dec. 2, the Lifestyle Department ran two pages of these photographs, which resulted in more than a few people coming by to claim their picture, or to look for missing photos.
Here are some more “forgotten faces.” These, and others, are in a box next to the Classified Advertising desk in the lobby of the Salisbury Post, 131 W. Innes St. If you see a photograph that belongs to you, please take it.
Both the Rowan Public Library History Room and Rowan Museum have offered to take our unclaimed photographs, so we won’t destroy them after all. But we wanted to give the public one last chance to claim theirs before they go to their new homes.
