MOCKSVILLE ó Davie County Senior Services announces the following opportunities.
n Beginner’s woodcarving class: 9-11 a.m. Tuesdays, Aug. 21-Sept. 25. Supplies $40. Open to ages 55 and older. RSVP by Aug. 6.
n Grandtastic Festival: noon-3 p.m., Sept. 8. Everyone 55 or older is invited to bring children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren or other family members. There will be activities for children and adults, games, entertainment, hot dogs and other refreshments. RSVP by Aug. 31.
