The president of North Carolina’s Community College System will meet with the board of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Monday to talk about searching for a new president.
Longtime Rowan-Cabarrus President Dr. Richard Brownell plans to retire in June 2008, and Martin Lancaster will talk to the college trustees about finding his replacement.
The Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in the North Campus Board Room in Salisbury. The board room is in the 300 Building.
Other agenda items include:
– Recognition of 2006-2007 Student Government President Barbara Meidl.
– A recommendation to approve a continuing budget resolution.
– A report on Rowan-Cabarrus’ 2006 internal audit.
