Hessie Beaver
ROCKWELL ó Hessie Goodman Beaver, 84, formerly of Old Salisbury-Concord Road, died Thursday (June 7, 2007) at Genesis Eldercare, Salisbury.
Born July 12, 1922, in Rowan County, Mrs. Beaver was a daughter of the late John E. and Ada Fraley Goodman.
She was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a member of Mount Zion United Church of Christ. Formerly employed by Rowan Industries, she retired from Terry Products, Kannapolis.
Her husband, Charles Lewis Beaver, died Nov. 21, 1984.
Survivors include son, Charles Lewis Beaver Jr., Kannapolis; daughter Nancy Beaver Brizendine, Rockwell; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A service was held Sunday (June 10, 2007) at Mount Zion United Church of Christ, conducted by the Rev. William Campbell, pastor. Burial, Green Lawn Cemetery.
Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, was in charge.
