Harry Lee Cline
CHINA GROVE ó Harry Lee Cline, 74, China Grove, died May 9, 2007, at Preston House, Charlotte.
Born May 15, 1932, Mr. Cline was a son of the late William Luther and Grace Barnhardt Cline.
He attended China Grove schools and Cones Electrical School, Chicago, Ill.
He served in the U.S. Army’s Signal Corps in Germany.
He retired after 40 years in the electrical shop at Cannon Mills, during which he was named Employee of the Year. He taught electrical courses at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
A life member of Concordia Lutheran Church, he was a member of the Men’s Bible Class.
He was a member of Woodmen of the World and American Legion.
Survivors include wife Ethel Karriker Cline, whom he married May 27, 1962; daughters Susan Stubbs and Sandra Honbarger, both of China Grove; brother William “Bill” Cline, China Grove; and three grandchildren.
A service was held Friday at Concordia Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Ken Reed and the Rev. Larry Bost. Burial, church cemetery.
