New median on 70
wastes tax money
Sometimes, it’s hard to understand the idiocy that constantly takes place in our city. What exactly is the thought process of the idiot who decided to add the new addition to Highway 70, the median? This question has been burning in the skulls of many residents of Salisbury and Rowan County.
Honestly, who came up with the brilliant idea to add this ignorant block of cement down the middle of U.S. 70? One brilliant brainstorm, says Einstein. The idea of the giant cinder block probably came from the same group of monkeys who created the aggravating trash on Brenner Avenue.
As you can tell, we have a complaint. Taxpaying residents of Salisbury and Rowan County do not, let me repeat, DO NOT agree with the giant cinder block. Rowan County’s tax money shouldn’t go to Neanderthal ideas such as this one. There are many hard-working people out there who don’t receive a third of your paycheck, and they could come up with better ideas on how we should spend our tax money. It’s a waste of time, money, and people’s front lawns.
This tax money could go to put up needed traffic lights at intersections that are constantly having car accidents. This money could also go to the repaving of roads built for mountain biking.
What if U.S. 70 had an emergency? There are various apartment complexes, businesses, houses and a nursing home along this road. You expect an ambulance, fire truck, or emergency vehicle to travel two miles down the road or climb over the cinder block to get to the place of emergency? Maybe you should try thinking about the more serious situations instead of acting like a group of 2-year-olds with building blocks. Don’t you know your ABCs and 123s by now?
