Mary W. Beaver

KANNAPOLIS – Mary Walton Beaver, 93, of Kannapolis, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Born October 15, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Mary Ida Grubb and George Walton. She was a graduate of Spencer High School and was retired from Cannon Mills Sewing Room. Mrs. Beaver was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church, Kannapolis.

Floyd Hubert Beaver, her husband of 61 years, preceded her in death. Surviving are son Donald Beaver and wife Phyllis of Kannapolis, sister Irma Lee Wilhelm of Spencer, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Monday at Lyerly Funeral Home. Service: 1:00 pm Monday at James C. Lyerly Chapel with the Rev. Doug Kearney officiating. Burial: Rowan Memorial Park. Memorials: New Hope Lutheran Church, 1615 Brantley Rd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.

Lyerly Funeral Home is serving the Beaver family.
