Margaret B. Eudy

ROCKWELL – Margaret Barnhardt Eudy, age 86, of Emmanuel Road, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Hospice House of Cabarrus County.
Mrs. Eudy was born Oct. 15, 1920, in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Adolphus Barnhardt and Betty Isenhour Barnhardt. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts, quilting, and fishing. She was a very loving and caring mother and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eudy; 10 brothers and sisters; and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by sons Ralph Eudy and wife Shirley of Rockwell, Fred Eudy and wife Susan of Mount Pleasant; daughters Betty Hill and husband Oliver of Gold Hill, Alice Shue and husband John of Mount Pleasant, Evelyn Furguson and husband Gerald of Vale and Mary Harwood of Mount Pleasant; sister Hilda Mae Safrit of Rockwell; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Service: Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Stephens Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Constance Garrett and the Rev. Linda Voelker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation: The Eudy family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant.
