STATESVILLE – Mrs. Hazel Mae Templeton Morrow, 88, of Statesville, passed away at Iredell Memorial Hospital, Saturday, January 27, 2007.

She was born December 2, 1918, the oldest of six children to Dessie and Jonah Templeton. She was married on April 27, 1946 to the late Carroll Espy Morrow. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll in 2001 and one brother, Foy Templeton in 2005.

Hazel is survived by two sons, Ashley Carroll Morrow of Mooresville, Bobby Wilson Morrow and wife, Linda of Statesville, four grandchildren, Ali Brady and husband Jason, Drew Morrow and wife Stacey, Brian Morrow, Brittany Morrow, two great grandchildren, Walker and Salem Brady, two sisters, Phyllis Feimster and husband Frank, Rachel York and two brothers, Kermit Templeton and wife Katherine and J.W. Templeton and wife Nancy. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the church prior to the funeral beginning at 10:15 a.m. and at other times, the family will assemble at the home of Bobby Morrow, 2908 Eastway Dr., Statesville, NC 28625.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, Inc., 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
