Edith K. Yarbrough

GREENSBORO – Edith K. Yarbrough, formerly of Salisbury, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at The Evergreens of Greensboro at the age of 90. She was a member of Haven Lutheran Church in Salisbury.

Mrs. Yarbrough was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. “Pete” Yarbrough, her parents, three brothers, and one great-grandson, Cole Thomas Bowman.

She is survived by sons Vaughn Yarbrough and wife Sheila of LaGrange, Ga., and Dale Yarbrough and wife Jennifer of Suwanee, Ga.; daughter Fonda Bowman of Greensboro; a special former daughter-in-law Judy Yarbrough of LaGrange, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many loving family members in the Salisbury area.

“Edie” was a strong individual who faithfully followed her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She devoted her life to her family who loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed.

Service: There will be a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. Saturday at Seacoast Church, 2317 Stanley Road, Greensboro.

Memorials: Memorials may be sent to the Department of Recreation Therapy, The Evergreens of Greensboro, 4007 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27407.
