Jerry Lee Raiden Strachan was born Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 14-1/2 ounces and was 20-1/2 inches long.

Jerry is the son of Pennie Myers and Christopher Strachan of Salisbury.

His paternal grandparents are Ruth Sexton of Salisbury and Scott Strachan Sr. of Kannapolis, and his maternal grandparents are Sharon and Jerry Myers of Salisbury.

His paternal great-grandmother is Martha Sexton of Coldwater, Mich., and his maternal great-grandfather is Cecil C. Myers of Mount Airy.
