Kelly Rogers McKusick

MOORESVILLE – Kelly Rogers McKusick, of Moores-ville, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007.

To our beloved Kelly, you will be forever greatly loved and missed.

Born Jan. 2, 1979, in Mooresville, Mrs. McKusick was the daughter of Kenneth O. “Kenny” and Kathy Kennedy Rogers of Mooresville. A 1997 Moores-ville High School graduate, she was a student at Strayer University studying International Business. She was employed with Wachovia Bank in Charlotte as a retirement service representative.

Mrs. McKusick dearly loved all children and was a strong advocate for them. She enjoyed doing volunteer reading in the local elementary schools.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Robert “Robbie” McKusick; father and mother-in-law John and Sharon McKusick of Abbot, Maine; paternal grandparents Claude L. and Margaret O. Rogers of Mount Ulla; godparents Ed and Willia Broach of Mooresville; brother Jerrod Rogers of Moores-ville; niece Kyndall Rogers; and two best friends, Josie and Rose.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mack W. and Irene Belk Kennedy.

Service: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Norman Christian Ministries with the Rev. Tom McCrea officiating.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
