SALISBURY – Patricia Diane Cottingham Jones, 55, of 190 Hallmark Circle passed away peacefully at NorthEast Medical on Saturday Jan. 13, 2007. Mrs. Jones was born March 4, 1951 in Rowan County to Bobby Lee Nichols and Opal Lee Cottingham Nichols Griffin.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, James Lester Jones of Spruce Pines; son, James Michael Jones of Salisbury; sister, Judy Simpson of Salisbury; brother, Robert Lee Nichols of Salisbury; grandsons, Joshua and Steven and granddaughter Shannon Sifford.

Service: Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church in Cullomee with Rev. Darrell Cocks officiating.

Visitation: The family Will receive friends following the service at the church.
