SALISBURY — A new family practice physician has joined the medical staff of Rowan Medical Clinic and Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Cheryl Navarro-McGuinness, a board-certified family practitioner, is accepting new patients. Patients interested in scheduling an appointment with her should call 704-797-0674. Rowan Medical Clinic is located at 1904 W. Jake Alexander Blvd., Suite 301, in Salisbury.

Navarro-McGuinness received her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo. She completed her internship and residency in family practice at Michigan State University, Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Mich.

Navarro-McGuinness joins family practitioner Dr. Deidra McCants and internist Dr. Obioma Anukwuem at Rowan Medical Clinic.
