Thelma C. and Edy C. Banks of Spencer were married Jan. 3, 1971, in York S.C.

The couple have three children, Joanna, Edy Jr. and Nicole Banks. They also have seven grandsons ages 1-7 years.

Mr. and Mrs. Banks are spending this weekend at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base, where their marriage started, with other former Marines.
