Myrna Cook Vannoy

LANDIS – Myrna Cook Vannoy, 70, of 1285 Dogwood Drive, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born Nov. 11, 1936, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Vannoy was the daughter of the late James Robert and Lottie Bost Cook. She was a graduate of Concord High School and retired from the office of Fieldcrest Cannon. Mrs. Vannoy was a member of Landis Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Dean Vannoy; son Jeff Vannoy and wife Carla of Sugar Land, Texas; daughter Deana Harden and husband Bobby of Salisbury; and grandchildren Brooke and Zackary Dean Vannoy and Jenson and Karrigan Harden.

Service: 3 p.m. Sunday at Landis Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Honeycutt, the Rev. Terry Brown and the Rev. Richard Horn officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation: 6:30-8:30 tonight at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove. The remainder of the time, the family will be at the home.
