A son, Cory Terrill, was born to Ashley Smith and Cory Wills of Charlotte on Dec. 5, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces. He has a brother, Timothy (TJ) Smith, 5, of Salisbury. Grandparents are Joni Owens and Dewey and Stella Smith, all of Salisbury, and Valerie Wills of Charlotte. Betty Owens of Spencer is great-grandparent.

Kierstin Eagle

A daughter, Kierstin Elaine, was born to Jennifer and Andy Eagle of Rockwell on Dec. 18, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Grandparents are Lloyd and Barbara Hull of Columbus, Ind., David and Linda Eagle of Rockwell, Jackie Walker of Collettsville and Rick Hunt of Cooleemee. Great-grandparents are Pauline Cox of Columbus, Ind., Alvin and Anna Mae Hull of Milan, Ind., and Louise Eagle and Bud and Betty Rowland of Rockwell.

Nathan Wetmore

A son, Nathan Richard, was born to Betsy and Jeff Wetmore of Salisbury on Dec. 27, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 10.5 ounces. He has a sister, Lauren, 4. Grandparents are Richard and Anne Ervin of Salisbury and Tom and Becky Wetmore of Woodleaf. Great-grandparents are Gordon and Rita Ervin of Brunswick, Ga.

Caden Callicutt

A son, Caden Andrew, was born to Deidre Rachel Miller and Michael Andrew Callicutt of Mount Ulla on Dec. 18, 2006, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces. Grandparents are Richard Miller of Cleveland, and Carol McRorie and Mike and Judy Callicutt, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Ralph and Sandra Oliphant of Mount Ulla, Estelle Miller of Cleveland, and Leon and Rozelle Owen of Salisbury.

Rachel Fisher

A daughter, Rachel Mae, was born to David and Jeri Fisher of Salisbury on Dec. 21, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces. She has a sister, Madelynn Nicole, 3. Grandparents are Jack and Ruth Fisher and Tom and Dale Williams. Dorothy Mae Free is great-grandparent.

Will Klingler

A son, William Tate, was born to Beth Harkey and Kirk Klingler of Salisbury on Dec. 9, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. He has a brother, Charlie Parks Klingler, 4. Grandparents are Luther and Ellen Harkey of Kernersville and Bub and Joyce Klingler of Weirsdale, Fla.

Banks Bowling

A daughter, Zara Banks, was born to Bradley and Ashleigh Cannon Bowling of Cary on Dec. 20, 2006, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. She weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces. She has a brother, Braeden Lane, 4. Grandparents are George and Susan Cannon of Faith and Harold and Virginia Bowling of Burlington. Great-grandparents are Van B. Brown of Faith and Pauline Cook of Elon.

Anna Spear

A daughter, Anna Catherine, born Dec. 15, 2006, was adopted by John and Susan Spear of Salisbury. She weighed 5 pounds, 3 ounces. She has a brother, John Randolph, 11/2. Grandparents are Maxwell K. Spear Jr. and Sara Ann J. Spear of Salisbury and Richard A. and Justine B. Vogel of Mooresville. Great-grandparents are Sara Jeffies of Columbia, S.C., and Peter B. Vogel Sr. of Wallingford, Pa.
