I was sitting outside a convenience store the other day and a man walking to the door was limping. I thought to myself “he could have parked closer if I hadn’t parked here.” Then I thought about all the people out shopping for Christmas who also may need that one parking spot that is closer to the door.We all drive around for that perfect and close parking space. I have two good legs and I should use them and park farther away so others who need to be closer to the door can be. Then on my way home from a family gathering, a funeral went by. Of course I pulled over to show my respect. I had an ex-fiance once who did not understand this. Maybe they do not do this up North. Life is not about always understanding everything; it’s about showing respect for others, making their lives a little easier. We all have our problems, but at the same time we have no idea what the person standing beside us is going through, either.

No one’s life is perfect. We get out of bed and we start our day like our life is the only one affected by the daily routines we choose. But that is not true. Everything that we do will touch someone else’s life. So consider someone else’s feelings in everything that you do.
