ASHEVILLE – Tyler Christian Puckett, of Ashe-ville, born on Dec. 23, 1998, was reunited with his Heavenly Father on Friday, Dec. 15, 2006.

The son of David and Rhonda Walls Puckett and brother to his sister, Jordan Puckett, his was a kind and gentle spirit filled with a deep love for his family, a beautiful smile and a wonderful laugh. He loved to spend time with his family and going fishing with his dad. He was a devoted, loving son and brother and his sister’s Cuddly Bear.

He was a member of Shepherd’s Chapel Church and a student at Emmanuel Lutheran School. He was a proud member of Avery’s Creek Wolf Cub Pack 26 and West Asheville Baptist’s Upward Basketball program.

In addition to his parents and sister, his loving family includes grandparents Hildagard R. Puckett and William L. Puckett Jr. of Asheville and Donna J. Walls and Johnnie G. Walls of Statesville; aunts and uncles Julia and Daniel Puckett of Asheville, Linda and Bill Puckett III of Candler, Dale Walls of Statesville and Cindy Capps of Candler; and loving cousins Courtney Puckett of Candler and Alissa Puckett of Asheville.

Service: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, Ashe-ville, with Pastor Fred Steimke officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.

Visitation: His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
