Ja’Zaria Samolu

A daughter, Ja’Zaria, was born to Whitney Carter and Joseph Samolu on Sept. 23, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 3.5 ounces. Grandparents are Rickey Rice of Salisbury, Loretta Rice of Reidsville, Annie Wolo of Minnesota and Joseph Samolu Sr. of East Spencer.

Addison Nelson

A daughter, Addison Grace, was born to April and Jason Nelson of Mooresville on Nov. 4, 2006, at Huntersville Presbyterian Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Jennings and Jeanette Nelson of Cleveland and Clark and Debbie Honeycutt of Roseboro. Great-grandparents are Mary Padgett of Cleveland, J.B. and Fannie Nelson of Concord, and Agnes Williams and Cloyce Honeycutt, both of Roseboro.

William Goss

A son, William Micheal Cary, was born to Tawana Mackenzie Goss of Salisbury on Nov. 24, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 4.5 ounces. He has two brothers, James Alexander Pennington, 9, and Bobby Lane Wheeler II, 6. Grandparents are Micheal and Sherhonda Anderson of Salisbury and Melvin (Mac) and Grace McCurley of Texas.

Gabriel Price

A son, Gabriel Cole, was born to Christopher and Cari Adams Price of Salisbury on Nov. 12, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds. Grandparents are Ben and Nancy Adams of Salisbury and Gary and Jean Price of Kannapolis. Great-grandparents are Lois Walton and Rita Adams, both of Salisbury, and Roy and Ruth Price of Kannapolis.

Nathan Collins

A son, Nathan Samuel, was born to Amie and Sam Collins III of Salisbury on Nov. 8, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital, Huntersville. He weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces. He has a sister, Claire, 4. Grandparents are Sara Turman and Joe Turman, and Sam and Nancy Collins, all of Salisbury.

Madison Myers

A daughter, Madison Elaine, was born to Christopher and Teresa Myers of Rockwell on Nov. 28, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds. She has a brother, Thomas Dale, 6. Grandparents are Roger and Judith Gilbert of Salisbury, B.T. Myers of Richfield, Pauline Garman of Cleveland and Robert Carroll of Kannapolis. Great-grandparents are Thelma Leviner of Granite Quarry and Bill and Peggy Canup of Mount Ulla.

Aiden Gumiela

A son, Aiden Reilly, was born to Brian and Patti Gumiela of Salisbury on Nov. 14, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces. He has a brother, Nicholas, 4. Grandparents are Connie Bamont of Pittsburgh, Pa., Anita Gumiela of Salisbury, John Gumiela of Meadville, Pa., and John Collins of Cincinnati, Ohio. Great-grandparents are Mary Lou Charlier of Pittsburgh, Jean Green of Meadville, Pa., and Toni and Robert Allison of Leesburgh, Fla.

Ayden Davis

A son, Ayden Tyler, was born to Daniel and Alisha Davis of Morganton on Nov. 14, 2006, at Grace Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces. He has a brother, Nathaniel S., 5. Grandparents are Scott Davis and Marian Davis of Morganton, Kathy and Gary Rummel of Woodleaf and Jerry and Susan Taylor of Cleveland. Great-grandparents are Ralph and Hattie Beach of Morganton, Dot Tipton of Marshall, Lattie Davis of Cleveland, Ohio, Peggy Cook of Salisbury and Jim and Linda Taylor of Statesville. Great-great-grandparents are Sidney and Annis Hensley of Marshall.
