Gary Lynn Jackson

CHINA GROVE – Gary Lynn Jackson, 39, of 203 Bonnie Lane, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Death was unexpected.

Born Aug. 24, 1967, in Iredell County, Mr. Jackson was a son of Jack Jackson of China Grove and Diane Goodman Jackson of Concord. Educated in Kannapolis city schools, he was employed with R.D.H. Tire & Retread in Cleveland for several years.

Mr. Jackson attended Westside Church of the Nazarene in Kannapolis and was known as a compassionate person who would often give to folks in need. He was also known for being an avid fisherman and enjoyed sports of the outdoors.

He was truly loved and will be truly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Misty Rollings Jackson; daughter Jessica Gainey and husband Christopher of Kannapolis; son Jacob Jackson of China Grove; stepchildren Taylor Brown and Madison Jackson of China Grove; brothers Kenneth Jackson of Kannapolis and Chad Jackson of China Grove; and sister Angela J. McEachern of Concord.

Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis with the Rev. Charles Savage and the Rev. J.T. Drye officiating. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

Visitation: 7-9 tonight at Whitley’s Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home.
