ALBEMARLE – Ruby Lee Coggin Everhart, 89, of 36101 Palestine Road, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at Stanly Regional Medical Center. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born Nov. 20, 1917, in Montgomery County, Mrs. Everhart was a daughter of the late Cled Harrison Coggin and Delia (Taylor) Coggin. She had been employed by Collins & amp; Aikman in Albemarle as a criller. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Dewey A. Everhart; son Barry Lee Everhart, who lived three days after birth; and brother Jack Coggin. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Surviving are daughters Barbara (Everhart) Thompson of Albemarle and Diane (Everhart) Shelton of Monroe; sisters Letha Lowder of Albemarle, Edna Campbell of Hampton, Va., Ruth Huneycutt of Norwood and Joann Hamilton of Troy; grandchildren Sandee Diane Lambert, Teresa Sue Fincher, Joel R. Thompson Jr., James Clegg Thompson, Chris Shelton, Jeff Shelton, Susan Shelton and Scott Shelton; great-granddaughters Megan and Dakota Thompson, Camden and Karlin Lambert and Kristen Shelton and Shiann Thompson; and great-grandsons Tristan Thompson, Brandon Barbee, Matthew Lambert, Dawson Lowder, Taylor Shelton, Riley Shelton and Luke Fincher. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: 12-1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The family will also be at the home of daughter Barbara at 33156 Old Salisbury Road, Albemarle. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Stanly Gardens of Memory with the Rev.
