Livingstone has announced that the search is under way for a new football coach.

Robert Massey was dismissed this week after back-to-back 1-9 seasons.

Massey originally came to Livingstone as defensive coordinator and was named interim coach in 2005 after Ben Coates departed shortly after he was hired as head coach.

Massey had the title of head coach this past season and was named CIAA coach of the week after the Blue Bears upset Bowie State in Charlotte for their only victory.
