Letter: Knee replacement restores mobility

As two orthopaedic surgeons performing knee and hip replacement surgery in Salisbury, we would like to thank Ester Burgess on her excellent article (12/4) regarding rehabilitation following total knee replacement. Ester’s article was well researched and presented. It contained valuable information for those who have or are considering having their knee replaced.

We are pleased to see her address the needs of a special group of people with relevant and useful advice. Knee replacement is a big step toward regaining mobility and independence and requires a significant amount of effort from the patient for a successful outcome. Thank you for this informative article.
