From staff reports

East Rowan and South Rowan are officially headed to 3A and will be part of the North Piedmont Conference for the 2007-08 school year.

Both schools appealed to be dropped from 4A to 3A because of Jesse Carson’s impact on enrollment, and the NCHSAA has approved the move.
