SALISBURY – Theodore Roosevelt Roseboro, age 80, affectionately call & quot;Ted, & quot; of 1140 Butler St., died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem after one year of serious illness. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mr. Roseboro was born in Rowan County on Dec. 27, 1925, to the late William T.E. Roseborough and Nannie Parker Roseborough. He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and served his country during World War II in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mr. Roseboro was a retired employee of PPG Industries, Norfolk/Southern Railroad and was a licensed brick mason. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;He is survived by daughters Teresa Wilson and Deborah Wilson of Salisbury, Theodosia McLaughlin (Kenny), Charlotte, and Kathy Lyerly (Stanley) of Greensboro; sons Carl Roseborough, Harrisburg, Pa., and Arthur Roseborough (Estralita) of Morristown, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: The funeral will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Southern City AME Zion Church with the Rev. Rollins Graham, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery on Brenner Avenue. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: The visitation is one hour prior to the funeral Thursday at the church. The family is also receiving friends at the home at 1140 Butler St. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Noble & amp; Kelsey Funeral Home is serving the family.
