Ricky Darnell Farris, 45, 115 St. Joseph St., died Nov. 23, 2006, at Manor Care Rehabilitation Center, Pinehurst.

Born July 17, 1961, in Cabarrus County, Mr. Farris was a son of William A. Farris, of the home, and the late Estelle Neal Farris.

Survivors, in addition to his father, include stepmother Queen Farris, of the home; sisters Gloria Farris, Salisbury, and Lisa Lyons, Sonya Wilson, Tommie Ann Jordan and Tracy Jordan, all of Kannapolis; and brothers Jessie Farris, William Farris Jr. and Michael Blakeney, all of Kannapolis, Robert Neal, Concord, Timothy Jordan, Columbia, S.C., and Tony Leak, High Point.

A service was held Friday (Dec. 1, 2006) at First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. P.C. Holland Jr., pastor. Burial, Rutherford Memorial Cemetery, Concord.

Clark Funeral Home was in charge.
