BADIN Blanche Burdette Council, 97, 23
Holly St., died Saturday (Oct. 23, 1999) at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle.
Born June 22, 1902, in Greenville, S.C., Mrs.
Council was a daughter of the late Wiley Andrew and Cornilia Frances Moore Burdette. A
homemaker, she was the oldest member of Badin United Methodist Church.
Her husband, David James Jim Council,
died Feb. 7, 1970.
Survivors include daughters Mildred
Midge Barnes and Virginia Mauldin, both of Albemarle, Claire Frances
Bobbie Russell, Toni Harrison and Wanda Speight, all of Badin, Ruth Brown,
Oregon, and Billie Ward, Surfside Beach, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren;
and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Badin United Methodist
Church, conducted by the Rev. Phil Jenkins and the Rev. Wes Judy. The body will be placed
in the church at 1:30. Burial, Fairview Memorial Park.
Visitation: 6-8 tonight, Stanly Funeral Home.

died Monday (Oct. 25, 1999) at Forsyth Memorial Hospital,Winston-Salem.

Jerry Alan Plott
WOODLEAF Jerry Alan Plott, 40, 3835 Potneck
Road, died Saturday (Oct. 23, 1999) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center,
Winston-Salem, after 10 months of declining health.
Born June 3, 1959, in Iredell County, Mr. Plott
was a son of Joe and Audrey Christy Plott, China Grove. He attended South Rowan High
School and was employed at the electrical shop at Freightliner, Cleveland. He was a member
of Woodleaf Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include
wife Betty Ramseur Plott; daughters Brandy Plott James, China Grove, and Shasta Michelle
Plott, of the home; brothers David Plott, Rockwell, Scotty Plott, Salisbury, and Mike
Plott, China Grove; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Wade Christy, Kannapolis; and one
granddaughter.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Woodleaf Baptist Church,
conducted by the Rev. Chris Williams. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30.
Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7-8:30 tonight, Linn-Honeycutt Funeral
Home, China Grove. At other times the family will be at the home of Joe and Audrey Plott,
212 Ross St., China Grove.
Eunie Inez Argo Trull
KANNAPOLIS Eunie Inez Argo Trull, 90, 1407
Venus St., died Sunday (Oct. 24, 1999) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
Born June 22, 1909, in Royston, Ga., Mrs. Trull
was a daughter of the late James Addison Argo and Alice Beasley Argo-Smith. She taught
piano and organ and was a member and organist of First Wesleyan Church for over 50 years.
Her husband, Henry Hoyle Trull, preceded her in
death.
Survivors include daughter Audrey Hatley,
Kannapolis; brother the Rev. Hoover Smith, Gastonia; two grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, First Wesleyan Church,
conducted by her brother, the Rev. Hoover Smith. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7-9 tonight, Whitleys Funeral
