- Larry Lee Angell, 54, Dogtrot Road, died Thursday (Oct. 21, 1999) at his residence.
Born Jan. 19, 1945, in Forsyth
County, Mr. Angell was a son of Edna Miller Angell, Mocksville, and the late Cecil L.
Angell. A construction worker, Mr. Angell was a member of Cooleemee Presbyterian Church.
Survivors, in addition to his
mother, include his wife, Pattie Angell, of the home; sons Mark A. Angell, Kannapolis, and
Tony Angell, of the home; daughters Leigh Ann Angell, Salisbury, Tabitha Robinson,
Indiana, and Krystal D. Angell, of the home; brothers Gray Angell, Advance, and Nat
Angell, Lexington; sisters Linda Hamilton, and Nan Angell, both of Mocksville; and eight
grandchildren.
Services:2 p.m. Sunday, Cooleemee
Presbyterian, conducted by the Rev. Robert Goforth and Robert Creason. Burial, Dutchman
Creek Baptist.

CONCORD - Ray Jackson Goodman, 84,
formerly of Winecoff School Road, died Wednesday (Oct. 20, 1999)at Five Oaks Nursing
Center.
Born Feb. 6, 1915 in Cabarrus
County, Mr. Goodman was a son of the late Ray D. and Ola J. Goodman. He was retired from
General Electric Company and a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
His wife, Margie W. Goodman,
preceded him in death.
Survivors include daughter Mary
Jane Goodman, St. Louis, Miss.; son Caleb Jackson Goodman II; half-sister Ruth Corriher,
China Grove; half-brother Earl Goodman, Concord; and two grandsons.
Services where held at 11 this
morning at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Wes Judy. Burial, Carolina
Memorial Park.

Born Sept. 2, 1931, in Rowan
County, Mrs. Link was a daughter to the late Nellie Coble and Charles D. Tucker. Educated
in Rowan County schools, she was earlier employed with Cone Mill for 12 years and was a
homemaker. Mrs. Link was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Salisbury.
Survivors include her husband,
Eugene GeneLink; sons Tony E. Link, Salisbury, and William J.
JeffLink, Cleveland; brother Everette Tucker, Conway; and eight grandchildren.
