Cheers For Veterans, Boos For Clinton

BY TROY R. ELLIOTT
SPECIAL TO THE POST

On Nov. 11, known as Armistice or Veterans Day, the Armistice was signed that ended World War I. I just want to thank the veterans - men and women - for serving our country.

I have a good wife, two children who have never used drugs, two grandsons I dearly love, a beautiful home, nice cars, live in a nice neighborhood, and have been selected commander of an American Legion Post. None of this would have been possible if you the veterans had not heeded the call and done your duty to fight for our freedom, and, yes, your freedom also. Just think if we would have been a draft dodger like William Jefferson Clinton; we the Americans would not have any freedom.

To the voters of the 12th District, if you were watching the impeachment hearings, you would have

seen Mel Watt show his true self. I am ashamed that he is from North Carolina and represents such a few of the people in the district. He has goose-stepped with Bill Clinton at all turns - voted to raise our taxes, tax the elderly people's Social Security, voted on all the giveaway programs that Clinton can think of so he can get the people's vote to stay in power by lying to the unfortunate voters.

Clinton has the most corrupt administration that has ever existed in the White House. Thank the Lord for the veterans and service people. To show our respect for them, let's impeach this man and put the rest of his crooks in the federal prison. The only difference in Clinton and Mel Watt is that one does the lying and the other repeats it. (I don't know if Watt served or whether he is a draft dodger like Bill Clinton).

My three brothers, nephew, cousins, uncles, friends, neighbors and myself served, so to all the service men and women who have served, and to those who are now serving - a big thank you.

Take a look around you and go to the VA Hospital and you will see the sacrifice they have made for you. Can you the voters not get the issues and extend your freedom by going to the polls next election and vote? You may not have this voice much longer, what with world government, the United Nations and Bill Clinton.
