 Some
students called him Doogie Howser
this 12 year old that sat next to them
four years ago in their German, chemistry
and computer classes at Catawba College. They
identified Aaron Goss with the teen-age
doctor in the television series. Goss
found that somewhat amusing, but
basically he just rode his green bicycle
to class.
He
took 21 and 23 hours a semester, while
his 18- and 22-year-old classmates took
15 and 16 hours. He listened in class and
took notes and got intensely interested
in Dr. Daniel Browns Introduction
to Logic class.
And
now, that young man is ready to don his
graduation robe and adjust his
mortarboard and receive the
congratulatory handshake from Catawba
President J. Fred Corriher.
