Aaron Goss, who enrolled at age 12, to become youngest Catawba grad

Goss.jpg (9902 bytes)1x1_trans.gif (43 bytes)Some students called him Doogie Howser – this 12 year old that sat next to them four years ago in their German, chemistry and computer classes at Catawba College.

They identified Aaron Goss with the teen-age doctor in the television series. Goss found that somewhat amusing, but basically he just rode his green bicycle to class.

He took 21 and 23 hours a semester, while his 18- and 22-year-old classmates took 15 and 16 hours. He listened in class and took notes and got intensely interested in Dr. Daniel Brown’s Introduction to Logic class.

And now, that young man is ready to don his graduation robe and adjust his mortarboard and receive the congratulatory handshake from Catawba President J. Fred Corriher.
