Stay informed about air quality

Air pollution can significantly affect your health by increasing the risk of asthma, lung cancer, Hodgkin’s disease, and heart attacks.

Children are even more affected, because they have a higher breathing rate and narrower airways.  But there are ways to protect yourself and your children.

Just like weather, air quality changes and by staying informed you can protect yourself and your children.

The EPA has developed a system for monitoring air quality and recommends that on action days people avoid prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Stay informed by signing up to receive forecasts or action day notifications directly to your inbox or cell phone at www.enviroflash.info.
