The Spencer Jaycees are sponsoring a Port-a-Pit chicken or rib dinner for Darrin DiMarzo, former member and president of the Spencer Jaycees, who was seriously injured in a hit and run accident while riding his motorcycle on Oct. 10. All proceeds will go to DiMarzo and his family to cover medical bills.

Chicken plates are $8.50, rib plates are $13 and both include meat, slaw, baked beans and a roll.

Plates can be picked up on Dec. 4 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Rowan County Fairgrounds. Free delivery for 10 or more plates.
