One arrested, two cited in narcotics unit search

One man was arrested and two others were cited Wednesday with drug possession.

Salisbury Police Department’s narcotics unit searched the home of Marlon Felton Wilkins, 36, in the 700 block of W. Fisher St. in Salisbury, and found 9.4 grams of crack cocaine, 3.3 grams of marijuana, $324 in cash and drug paraphernalia in a locked closet.

Wilkins was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine; marijuana possession and maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances.

Adam and Jahkeal Eberhart were also in the home and were both cited for simple possession of marijuana. Adam had 7.9 grams, and Jahkeal had 3.4 grams.

Wilkins was given a $5,000 bond and transported to the Rowan County Detention Center.

• A man reported a bicycle was stolen from the 400 block of W. Horah St. in Salisbury between 10 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• A woman reported an assault in the 600 block of South Ellis Street in Salisbury Wednesday.

• Rushco No. 11, located at 2004 Statesville Blvd., reported a forced entry burglary around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

• A woman reported a shooting into occupied property in the 1000 block of S. Church St. in Salisbury Thursday.

• A woman reported that her vehicle was stolen in the 100 block of North Jackson Street Thursday.

• Kristyn Michele Wale, 28, was charged with misdemeanor larceny in the 1500 block of Jake Alexander Blvd. Monday.

• Carrie M. Wright-Adair, 38, was charged with simple possession of a controlled substance in the 1000 block of W. Innes St. Tuesday.

• Guy Steven Pearce, 21, was charged with simple possession of a controlled substance in the 1900 block of W. Jake Alexander Blvd. Wednesday.

• David Clay Trexler, was charged with felony larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses Wednesday.

• Francena Hermecka Hermeka Carter, 32, was charged with resist, delay and obstruct of a public officer.

In Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A man reported his car was stolen from the 200 block of Kress Venture Drive in china Grove.

• A woman reported a larceny from a motor vehicle in the 3100 block of Shue Rd. in Salisbury Tuesday.

• A man reported a 4-wheeler was stolen from his residence in the 5100 block Reeves Island Rd. in Richfield Tuesday.

• A man reported that firewood was stolen from the 700 block of Lake Fork Rd. in Salisbury Tuesday.

• A man reported a burglary in the 900 block of S. Kimmons St. in Landis Tuesday.

• Gold Hill Baptist Church reported the burglary of a storage building on the church’s property at 16141 Old Beatty Ford Rd. in Gold Hill.

• A man reported that gasoline was stolen from his motor vehicle in the 200 block of Duke Dr. in Salisbury Tuesday.

• A woman reported that a tow truck driver stole the battery out of her husband’s vehicle in the 5700 block of Wright Rd. in Kannapolis Tuesday.

• Kristina Renee Dunn, 29, was charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Jeremy Lee Jacobs, 18, was charged with misdemeanor larceny in the 100 block of Tucker Lane in Gold Hill.

• Jacques Malic Pharr, 18, was charged with possessing cocaine in the 400 block of 3rd St. in Kannapolis.

• Jessica Dallas Grimes, 29, was charged with marijuana possession in the 400 block of Grace Church Rd. in Salisbury.

• Cody Wayne Plummer, 20, was charged with misdemeanor larceny.
