Cooperative Extension celebrating 100 years on Sunday

Cooperative Extension agents, volunteers, 4-H leaders, 4-Hers, Master Gardener volunteers and advisory council members invite the public to help celebrate Cooperative Extension’s 100 years of service in Rowan County.
The celebration will be 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday at the Agriculture Center on Old Concord Road in Salisbury. There will be 4-H educational booths, a Rowan County Beekeeping and dairy booth and cooking demonstrations as well as Master Gardener volunteers who have information on the Pocket Garden demonstration gardens at the Extension office.
Door prizes and refreshments will also be served during the event.
