Rowan weather: Rainy Friday, then a great weekend

Damp this morning, wasn’t it? At least we haven’t had the dense, all-over fog like we did yesterday. We are also quite a bit cooler, with an early morning temperature of 55 degrees.
But we’ll end up with sunny skies and a high near 82. Tonight’s low will be 58.
Thursday promises to be sunny and 84, with a 20 percent chance of showers creeping in Thursday night, and a low around 62.
Friday is our problem day, when we have a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy (duh) and around 78 degrees, with south southwest winds 9-14 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. Friday night, we’re still looking at a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low of 56.
Then it looks like clear sailing for the weekend and into the week.
Saturday should be mostly sunny and near 71. Saturday night’s low will be a real surprise for most — 45 degrees. Pull up those blankets.
Sunday will be sunny and 69, with a low of 49, still quite cool.
Monday should be mostly sunny and 73, with a low of 53, and Tuesday will be mostly sunny too, and warmer, with a high of 76.
